Dear friends,
Memes have had a tremendous impact on the social aspect of our lives and the world as a whole for the last 15 years. They are a gateway of easy communication to expressing ourselves and our viewpoints to friends, family, and even strangers. Whether or not the viewpoint is shared or even can be comprehended, they make each of us unique in expressing ourselves, when some of us introverts find difficulty doing so.
Meet the creator of Dank Channel, Levi Grenko. A social media manager who has handled several different companies and organizations since 2013. The thing with Levi is, he loves to shitpost memes unironically. Now you might think what kind of fucking loser likes to shitpost memes to strangers for likes in their free time? The thing is though, we all like memes, because you sure as shit wouldn’t be reading this if you didn’t. As much as we don’t want to admit to ourselves, posting memes is a personality trait, and it is an easy way to express a viewpoint to others with a visual addition expressing mood to your comment. Growing social media accounts for others and himself totaling over 7.5 million users over a span of 7 years, Levi has a special ability of growing large audiences and adapting content to what people want to see or read.
Why we are telling you this is Dank Channel is striving to be something special selling you stuff from the very beginning. There are millions of different things you can buy on the internet, and funny enough a majority of the purchases only go to a handful of large e-commerce websites like Amazon, Walmart, Target, eBay, etc. We just want to sell cool meme shit–That’s it. But, at a price that everyone can afford it and express themselves.
One thing I have been open about in the last few years is I suffered with depression and anxiety throughout my entire life. Having a rough childhood and not socially fitting in with people around me, it really brought my moral down and keeping to myself and not branching out to make friends. It was bad, I was a shy introvert surrounded by people who thought I was weird. When memes started rolling out everywhere on the internet in the early 2010’s, I started to see something I have never seen before: People sharing similar opinions and jokes that no one expressed in my life i’ve met in person.
This was a turning point in my life because I knew there were people just like me out there, and had similar interests and humor. I made my first meme page in 2012 on Facebook and since then I grew to love the internet culture of memes, and how they are always changing and adapting to new times. I’ve told myself for years if I could do this for a career, I would be the happiest man on earth. -Levi Grenko (CEO of Dank Channel)
Dank Channel’s goal is to make a difference on the world as a whole. Not only do we want to dish out fresh dank ass meme merch for everyone to buy and express their own uniqueness, but we want to make the world a better place in the process. That’s why from Day 1, we promise to give AT LEAST 10% of each purchase and donate it to very carefully selected nonprofits who’s sole purpose is saving the lives of humans and animals. No stupid ass asterisk. Period. This can range from animal shelters who empty kill shelters keeping dogs and cats alive for a loving family to adopt them, or organizations who help with food, medicine, medical bills, homelessness, and other life threatening conditions of people who have no hope. Simply because, WE FUCKING CARE, and we aren’t scumbags hoarding money for ourselves and paying workers filthy dirt low wages. Which is where our motto originated, “Dank Memes Save Lives.”
We encourage you to be apart of the Dank Channel family by repping our products, because your money isn’t going towards buying a 5th luxury penthouse in downtown Manhattan where the CEO is doing lines of coke off the stomach of poor college girls, but it’s going towards building a business who wants to make a fundamental change in society allowing people to express themselves with memes in real life, while knowing their purchase is helping save the lives of animals and humans.
Let us help you be you, and we welcome you to our Dank family with arms wide open.
